Role: Financial Control Manager
Location: Bristol/London
Duration: 6 Months
Day rate: £500.00 inside IR35
Role Description:
You will be responsible for driving transformational change of processes supporting the accounting, budgeting, invoicing, compliance with financial regulations, and internal and external reporting, as well as supporting the day-to-day running of these processes, as needed.
Main responsibilities:
- Drives process improvement such as automation and optimisation of manual tasks associated with the handling of large volumes of data from multiple different sources.
- Contribute to the design of opportunities for improvements in financial data, processes, controls and systems to support analysis and decision making across the business
- Support the financial control team with ad hoc tasks related to accounting, budgeting, invoicing, compliance with financial regulations, and internal and external reporting.
- Ensure the financial integrity of the business by implementing discrete, complex process and policy changes.

- Suitable candidates will be qualified Accountants - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent

- Proven background in transforming financial processes, especially related to financial reporting and forecasting.
- Possess bold and confident thinking with a proven background of challenging the status quo where appropriate. Have a 'self-starter' attitude and accountability to see tasks through to completion.
