Were looking for a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to lead the finance function, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with the executive team on strategic decisions. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key leadership role in a high-growth tech business.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

  • Own the month-end and year-end close processes, including reporting and reconciliations.

  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

  • Provide detailed performance analysis and strategic financial insights to the leadership team.

  • Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team to support the next stage of growth.

  • Drive system and process improvements in line with the scale-up journey.

What Were Looking For
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience.

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager, ideally in a software, SaaS, or high-growth tech environment.

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, IFRS/UK GAAP, and tax compliance.

  • Confident using financial software tools (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms).

  • Commercially astute, tech-savvy, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile business.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
