On an exclusive basis, greenwelgleeson are recruiting for a Financial Controller to work with an exciting, growing, service business to be based in Bristol with travel to Birmingham.

This company is a B-Corp and operates a 4 day working week at 100% pay.

In this newly created role, reporting into the Finance Director, you will help to enable the cultural and ethics of this rapidly growing business by overseeing the day-to-day financial operations.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Production of Operational Reporting and "Business Partner" to Operational team to drive improvements in productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Production and maintenance of rolling forecast with monthly analysis, insight and commentary of comparison to monthly management accounts

  • Accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting

  • Developing and maintaining robust financial controls

  • Driving improvements in financial processes and systems to drive "smart working", continuous productivity gains and scalability

  • Assisting with the mergers and acquisitions process, due diligence and post-acquisition integration with an emphasis on selling the culture of the company to the acquired companies' teams.

  • Support the Finance Director and wider management team with any ad hoc projects whether operational or strategic.

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or nearly qualified

  • Strong stakeholder management

  • Used to working in a hands on environment

  • Driven, ambitious, self-motivated, fast learning individual looking to progress their career

  • An insatiable appetite to work smarter than before and overcome the obstacles for implementing improvements.

  • Hard working and collaborative individual up for a challenge and to get stuck in
