Robert Half are currently seeking a highly capable and commercially minded Head of Finance & Operations to join our leadership team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will be responsible for leading the Finance function reporting directly into the CFO. Working closely with the Executive and Management Team, the post-holder will play a key role in delivering and reporting against the company's financial plan while driving operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Job Title: Head of Finance & Operations
Location: Central Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £90,000
Contract Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Improve MI delivery and implement a scalable finance system
- Drive cost control and support commercial decision-making
- Oversee financial compliance, cash flow, and risk management
- Manage and develop the Finance Team and ensure HR compliance
Person Specification:
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Senior finance leadership experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional responsibilities
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
