Description
- Leading the planning and implementation of internal audits.
- Ensuring all financial procedures and controls are maintained and up-to-date.
- Preparing and presenting audit findings to management.
- Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Developing and implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
- Working closely with various departments to optimise best practices.
- Providing training and guidance to audit team members.
- Staying informed of industry trends and changes in regulations.
Profile
A successful Internal Audit Senior should have:
- An academic background in Accounting & Finance or a similar field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of audit procedures and regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
