What You'll be doing
- Use data analysis techniques to investigate, validate, and enhance complex actuarial models.
- Analyse and assess complex calculations for clients, delivering clear, actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement changes-whether regulatory, client-driven, or corrective.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on time and within agreed budgets.
- Support the operations team by responding to calculation-related customer queries, recalculating values, and correcting policy errors when needed.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in actuarial roles, ideally within the Life and Pensions sector.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to guide and support teams.
- Experience in outsourced servicing and client quote management.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with confidence in handling large datasets under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, modelling, and automation a plus).
- A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
