Accounts Receivable Specialist - BS1-Based Business

Are you an expert in accounts receivable, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, and eager to take the lead in shaping AR processes? We're looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing operations, ensure seamless payment processing, invoicing, collections, and bank reconciliation. In this role, you'll refine our accounts receivable framework, foster strong partnerships with third-party stakeholders, and drive accuracy and efficiency in invoicing.Additionally, you'll spearhead debt management within a newly established section of the company, making a significant impact on financial operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide top-tier customer service and transactional support to customers and internal teams.
  • Oversee debt reporting, payment plans, and arrears resolution.
  • Support property teams in minimising non-payment risks.
  • Process refunds, reallocations, adjustments, and rent payments.
  • Manage accounts placed on hold and take prompt action on debt issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer and guarantor records.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in finance or customer service environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and debt reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Lookups & Pivot Tables).
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
