The successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will be involved in a wide range of exciting projects, working both in the office and out on site. You'll gain exposure to diverse sectors including mining, infrastructure, and environmental development.

Your responsibilities will include designing and managing ground investigations, producing slope stability assessments, compiling Phase 1 and 2 site investigation reports, preparing validation documentation, and writing risk assessment reports.

In addition, this position offers the chance to mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth, while continuing to develop your own technical and leadership skills alongside other senior professionals.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in geotechnical design and technical report writing
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Based within a commutable distance of the Bristol office
  • Full UK driving licence
