Randstad are recruiting for a Project Engineer in the Bristol area for an industry leading tier 1 contractor.

CIS payment available****

The project engineer will have a track record in civil engineering major infrastructure projects, ideally within FRC & structures packages for a main contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Structures & FRC packages: Oversee technical aspects, ensuring compliance with design and quality.
  • Resolve technical issues: Lead problem-solving for site-based design challenges, liaising with design teams.
  • Bridge design & site: Act as the key interface with permanent works designers.
  • Manage Temporary Works: Review, develop, approve, and oversee implementation of all temporary works.
  • Programme management: Develop FRC/structural programmes, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
  • Champion HSEQ: Ensure strict health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.
  • Quality assurance: Conduct site inspections, audits, and manage quality documentation.
  • Supervise teams: Oversee site teams and subcontractors for efficient delivery.
  • Report & Communicate: Prepare accurate reports and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
