We're working with one of the UK's top engineering consultancies, and they're on the hunt for a talented Senior Highway Engineer to join their well-established team. This is your chance to be part of a forward-thinking business that's shaping sustainable infrastructure across the country.
 
In this role, you won't just be ticking boxes-you'll be hands-on in project delivery, using your technical expertise to produce innovative design outputs that bring complex transport schemes to life. You'll play a key role in supporting the Transport Engineering team, providing valuable technical input while working closely with sector and client project leads across the business.
 
The scope is huge-you'll get to collaborate across multiple disciplines, from Transport and Environmental Management & Compliance to Land & Water and Specialist Environmental Services. Expect variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to tackle exciting technical challenges alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the field.
 
What we're looking for:
Our client is after an engineer with a consultancy background and solid experience in the design of Section 278, 238 and 104 processes, as well as:
 
A track record in delivering projects within a consultancy or contracting environment
 
The ability to manage smaller projects and mentor junior members of the design team
 
Strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively
 
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Microdrainage/Flow
 
Good knowledge of UK guidance and standards
