An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Traffic Design Engineer to contribute to the delivery of active travel schemes across Bristol. Projects range from pedestrian and cycle route upgrades to major road widening and junction enhancements.
聽
Key Responsibilities:
路Deliver end-to-end scheme designs for highways and junction improvements, including drainage, lighting, and traffic signals.
路Prepare construction information and Health & Safety documentation in line with CDM Regulations.
路Liaise with the public, councillors, and stakeholders during consultations and support legal processes for Traffic Regulation Orders.
路Supervise junior staff and contribute to team objectives and project delivery timelines.

What We're Looking For:
路Strong working knowledge of DMRB, TSRGD, CDM Regulations, and highways construction standards.
路Proven experience managing budgets, monitoring programmes, and providing design support through construction phases.
路Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills.
