Artis HR are supporting a leading professional services business in Bristol with the recruitment of an Employee Relations Advisor to join their established People Team.This is a great opportunity to step into a busy, fast-paced ER role where you'll work across a wide range of employee relations matters. Reporting into the ER Manager, you'll support managers across the business by providing clear, consistent and commercial advice, with a strong focus on resolution and risk management. Key responsibilities include:Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations queriesAdvising and coaching managers on disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance issuesSupporting and leading on investigations, hearings and restructuresManaging high-risk cases, including whistleblowing, discrimination and potential tribunal claimsEnsuring ER policies and practices remain compliant and up to dateSupporting with the delivery of training and ER-related workshopsGetting involved in wider people projects when neededWhat we're looking for:Previous experience as an HR or ER Advisor in a busy HR functionSolid working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsA proactive, solutions-focused approachConfidence using Microsoft Office and HR systemsThe role is based in central Bristol on a hybrid working basis.
