Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected and expanding planning consultancy in their search for an Associate Director to join their Bristol office.
This consultancy is established across England and Wales and is known for its expert advice in planning, development economics, and design. With a collaborative and creative culture, they work with major developers and housebuilders on prestigious and challenging projects throughout the UK.
The Role
As part of the Bristol Planning team, you will lead and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic planning, development management, and project coordination across a wide range of public and private sector schemes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of an established and thriving office.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- MRTPI status and a minimum of six years' professional experience
- A strong commercial mindset and proven ability in both forward planning and development management
- Excellent knowledge of planning legislation and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong written and analytical skills, with the confidence to communicate and influence at all levels
- Experience in client-facing roles and managing planning projects from inception to completion
- A solid understanding of the local planning context in the Bristol area
