An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join a well-established environmental contracting business delivering a wide range of land remediation and earthworks projects across the UK.
This role would suit someone with practical site experience and a strong technical background in contaminated land, remediation, and environmental engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning, and delivery of remediation and earthworks projects
- Carry out site investigations, sampling, monitoring, and data interpretation
- Support project managers with technical input and site supervision
- Ensure all work meets health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
- Prepare reports, method statements, and risk assessments
- Liaise effectively with clients, regulators, and subcontractors
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, Earth Science, or a related discipline
- Proven experience working on remediation or contaminated land projects (field or project level)
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and remediation techniques
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
