Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Job Type: PermenantĀ 

Location: Portishead, Bristol, UK

Hours: Full-time / Monday - Friday

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Early Years Practitioner, qualified to Level 3 or higher, to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for fostering children’s development through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, sharing insights with parents and carers.
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to maintain a safe setting.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and caring attitude.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
