Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an up & coming valve overhaul specialist in the South West of England.

We are recruiting for a Valve Technician with experience of onsite relief valve testing, refurbishment, and certification. Using bespoke mobile testing workshops, the company delivers efficient, on-site solutions that reduce downtime and eliminate travel costs.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Valve Technician based in Weston Super Mare. The Valve Technician will be responsible for inspecting and repairing safety/relief valves, conducting onsite testing, calibration, and certification, and performing troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Additionally, the technician will support field service operations and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Maintaining accurate documentation and test reports is also a key part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Valve Repair and general maintenance techniques
  • Experience in Field Service tasks, including operational support and onsite maintenance
  • Knowledge of Process Control and Calibration procedures
  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting and problem-solving in technical environments
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Relevant certifications or training in valve maintenance or mechanical engineering is advantageous
  • Willingness to work in an on-site but workshop based in Portishead.
  • Full, clean driving licence

The majority of the work will be medium - heavy commercial based work, across health care and education facility management departments.
