Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join us in supporting our schools in the BS7 area of Bristol.
We are recruiting for Teaching Assistants who have a particular specialism in writing and phonics. This is an area which has been identified by local schools as an area of focus, and they need your support! with writing being a key focus for many UK pupils, we need those who are adaptable and knowledgeable in the area to support those who need it most. If you have experiences of supporting those with this particular need, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Bristol, BS7 area
Position: Teaching Assistant
Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, small group work, reading, forest school opportunities, support class teacher in delivering lessons
Start Date: Immediate - assignment on-going
Rate of pay : 105 - 120
Hours: 08:30 - 16:00
EXPERIENCE
Desirable:
*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
*Experience of working in Primary Schools
*Experience of inclusive classroom practice
*An understanding/awareness of supporting SEND requirements
*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis
*Drives (not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
