Project Manager - Aerospace

Location: Filton, Bristol (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite)
Contract Duration: Until November 2026 (with possible extension)
Pay Rate:

  • 35.00 per hour (Umbrella)
  • 26.16 per hour (PAYE

Hours: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)IR35 IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the Role:
Our global aerospace client is searching for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading aerospace programme. This is a new vacancy, offering the opportunity to work in a technical environment and collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders across procurement, engineering, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver project plans within a technical aerospace environment
  • Engage in technical discussions with engineers
  • Oversee configuration management and planning tools (e.g., MS Project)
  • Interface with procurement, engineering, and design teams
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Be customer-facing and communicate effectively

Requirements:

  • Aerospace experience and understanding of aircraft
  • Comfortable with configuration management tools (ICC)
  • Ability to hold technical discussions with engineers
  • Exposure to planning tools (MS Project or similar)
  • Strong communicator with project management awareness
