An established, design-led engineering consultancy in Bristol is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team. The business works across a broad range of development-led projects, supporting clients from early feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
The consultancy is well known for delivering civil engineering solutions for residential, commercial, mixed-use and regeneration schemes, with particular strengths in highways, drainage and infrastructure design. Projects range from small bespoke developments to large-scale masterplanning schemes across the UK.
The Role
You'll be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers and other disciplines to provide practical, buildable solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Detailed design of drainage (SuDS), highways and external works
- Preparing technical drawings, reports and calculations
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
- Liaising with local authorities, clients and design teams
- Mentoring junior team members as you progress
About You
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Experience working in a UK civil engineering consultancy
- Strong knowledge of drainage and highway design standards
- Familiar with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or similar
- Working towards, or already holding, ICE or equivalent professional status
