Commercial Property Senior Associate Solicitor – Bristol

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor who is open to expanding their practice into advising rural/agricultural clients on their land matters. 

This role will be to work alongside a highly experienced partner who will support your development and be part of a law firm with a strong reputation in this sector across the South of England.

You will advise a wide range of clients from private individuals and family estates to corporate landowners and institutional lenders on high-value commercial property work and complex agricultural matters

The role will include:

  • Advising on the sale and purchase of farms, estates and rural land holdings, including high-value and multi-lot transactions
  • Acting for clients on:
    • Farm business tenancies 
    • First registrations and title reconstructions
    • Overages, easements and rights of way
    • Sporting rights and related leases
    • Agricultural Holdings Act and 1954 Act tenancy advice
  • Representing lenders on secured finance transactions involving rural and mixed-use assets

About you:

  • You will be an experienced commercial property solicitor (ideally 5+ years PQE) with a solid grounding in, sales and purchase of freehold and leasehold matters
  • A strong interest in agricultural or rural property is essential
  • Comfortable handling complex and technical title issues
  • A confident communicator with a client-focused approach and commercial awareness
