With a healthy pipeline of quality instructions and close links to other departments, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for both interesting work and a long-term home.RESPONSIBILITIES* Manage a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and portfolio management. Advise on landlord and tenant matters such as leases, lease renewals, and licenses. As well as handling and assisting on more complex development matters, joint ventures, and pension property transactions. * Supervise trainee and support staff when required. * Advise clients on key commercial banking documents, including debentures and guarantees. * Contribute to business development efforts and represent the firm at relevant industry events. * Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients in the commercial property sector.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:* Qualified solicitor in England and Wales at least 5 years post qualified experience, ideally all within commercial property. * Solid experience managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, * A proactive approach to business development and networking is essential, along with the ability to establish and maintain local client relationships. * Leadership experience and the ability to drive improvements in departmental efficiency and profitability would be a distinct advantage, as would the ability to motivate and lead a well-trained, efficient team.* Personable, friendly and driven individual with motivation to drive the team into further success and develop within the firm.
