Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Depot Service Engineer to join our client’s team, working across their Bristol and Huntingdon depots.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of depot operations — ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards, diagnosing and repairing faults, and keeping everything running smoothly. To succeed, you’ll need a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of equipment, including planned maintenance tasks.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain parts stock levels, ensuring availability when needed.
- Data Recording: Accurately log parts usage and job details via the company’s mobile system.
- Depot Support: Provide backup support across other depots when required to maintain service continuity.
- Workplace Standards: Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well organised in line with company safety protocols.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Additional Duties: Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by the Depot Manager.

- Previous experience in a similar role (equipment maintenance or depot operations preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing depot needs.
