About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Depot Service Engineer to join our client’s team, working across their Bristol and Huntingdon depots.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of depot operations — ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards, diagnosing and repairing faults, and keeping everything running smoothly. To succeed, you’ll need a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of equipment, including planned maintenance tasks.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain parts stock levels, ensuring availability when needed.
  • Data Recording: Accurately log parts usage and job details via the company’s mobile system.
  • Depot Support: Provide backup support across other depots when required to maintain service continuity.
  • Workplace Standards: Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well organised in line with company safety protocols.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by the Depot Manager.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role (equipment maintenance or depot operations preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing depot needs.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.60 with overtime opportunities.
  • A supportive, team-focused environment.
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
  • A permanent position with a stable and growing company.

If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and become a key part of a hardworking and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
