A terrific opportunity has arisen for a Depot Operations Manager to join this highly successful company which prides itself on customer satisfaction and on time delivery. This is an integral role within the business to provide a solid foundation for the existing small fleet and future development. As Assistant Operations Manager you will be based in Avonmouth,Bristol and be:
- Responsible for assisting in the running, route planning and organisation of a fleet of waste collection vehicles
- Accountingfor vehicles, staffing, operational performance, route efficiency and customer service levels.
- Helping to ensurethat the site is operated in accordance with legislation, regulatory compliance, operational best practice and all tasks undertaken adhere to site rules.
We are inviting applications from individuals who have a modicum of experience in operational management (as this is a relativley new site for the company) and looking for that step up within a transport or logistics enviroment. Will have good commercial acumen and able to deal with a small team. Route planning experience would be handy . You will be very hands on and must have a full driving licence and able to work flexible hours - Monday to Friday
Salary upto £40k
