Robert Half are working with a rapidly growing client seeking a Power BI expert to help build essential business dashboards. Contract Power BI Developer ContractorLocation: Bristol (Hybrid) - 2/3 days in the office Length: Initial 3-6 monthsRate: £350-£500pd via Umbrella

Role Overview:The organisation requires a seasoned Power BI contractor to deliver a high-visibility suite of dashboards, integrating complex and diverse data sets into a single source of truth. You'll be central to transforming raw data into actionable insight, and expected to work at pace to address a backlog of reporting requirements across sales, marketing, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Redevelop and deliver a backlog of 10+ business-critical dashboards in Power BI.
• Integrate data sources via BigQuery, including CRM, SQL, paid media platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn), payroll, and financial systems.
• Enhance and standardise data models for accuracy and reporting consistency.
• Implement GDPR-compliant access controls and secure reporting environments.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to align outputs to business strategy.
• Tackle legacy reporting issues, improving confidence in data quality and insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven track record delivering Power BI dashboards in fast-paced, data-rich environments.
• Advanced skills in SQL and experience with Google BigQuery.
• Strong knowledge of data integration across various platforms and paid ad channels.
• Confident engaging and managing senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Thorough understanding of GDPR and enterprise-level access control frameworks.
• Independent, proactive mindset with the ability to deliver quickly and effectively.
