We are currently working in partnership with an organisation based in Portishead, who are looking to appoint a Payroll Advisor on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This will be a part-time position (22.5 hours/week) covering maternity leave. The role offers agile hybrid working and a salary of £21,492 (FTE £35,343).
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Processing the end-to-end monthly payroll for approx. 350 employees, including BACS and CHAPS
- Administering colleague lifecycle changes, providing advice to the business on HMRC/Pension guidelines
- Ensuring payroll and pensions are processed in line with legislations
- Helping to identify improvements to payroll processes
- Responding to payroll related queries form employees, providing advice and solutions
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll records, including starters and finishers
- Administering salary sacrifice schemes, including pensions, childcare, cycle to work schemes
Experience required:
- Experience leading monthly/yearly inhouse payroll processes
- Experience of employee lifecycle i.e. change of contract, promotion, leavers
