A long-established and highly respected law firm with multiple offices across the UK is seeking a Paralegal to join its Residential Property team at its Bristol office. The Role

This position supports a busy Private Client Residential Department. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and paralegal support to fee earners, ensuring high standards of confidentiality and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and contracts as directed
  • Managing case files using the firm’s case management system
  • Generating quotations for conveyancing services
  • Conducting Land Registry searches and other necessary online procedures
  • Preparing for contract exchanges and completions in line with industry standards
  • Responding to legal enquiries and drafting client reports
  • Conducting conveyancing searches and submitting SDLT forms
  • Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry
  • Performing general administrative duties (filing, photocopying, emailing, etc.)
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and brokers both over the phone and face-to-face
  • Archiving closed matters in accordance with firm policy
  • Independently handling routine client meetings and minor case issues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing role is essential
  • Law degree or equivalent legal training is desirable but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Proficient with IT and case management systems
  • Adaptable and proactive approach
