Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Assistant on to join a client based in South Bristol for a period of 9 months. This will be on a fixed term contract basis with flexible working hours and hybrid working.
Role: Finance Assistant
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
Duration: 9 month Fixed term contract
Start date: ASAP
Working pattern: Standard full time is 36 hours, 2 days a week in the office, 3 from home
Responsibilities include:
- Processing payments - cash management and planning
- Preparing payment runs
- Processing Purchase and sales ledger
- Credit control
- Allocation of all transactions, analysis codes and cost centres
- Monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with fixed asset, deprecation, prepayments and accruals
- Reviewing and processing expenses
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required to assist the team
Skills/Experience needed:
- Previous experience in a finance role, managing ledgers, reconciliations etcComputer literate and enthusiastic to learn Self- motivated Comfortable working in a small team, with a collaborative attitudeHigh attention to detail International or Charity experience - Desirable but not an essential Enjoys variety and getting involved in many areas
- Ideally studying/studied AAT
