TeacherActive is currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) across Avonmouth, Henbury, Shirehampton, and Southmead, to support local primary schools in creating inclusive, engaging learning environments. Your Role Will Include:
-
Supporting pupils with their learning in and outside of the classroom
-
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and small-group activities
-
Encouraging pupil confidence, independence, and social interaction
-
Providing 1:1 support for children who need extra guidance
-
Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
-
A calm, confident, and encouraging approach to behaviour and learning
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
-
Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
