We are currently in a period of growth, and we are looking for a reliable and hands-on warehouse operative to join our team. We are looking for someone who can be quick on their feet and is happy to be processing goods in and packing away products efficiently.

The role will be starting out at £14 per hour and with the potential for a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is ideal but not a necessity
  • Experience using internal systems to help with warehouse processing
  • Previous experience processing goods in
  • Experience doing stock takes to help process a high number of orders coming through.
  • Clear communication in a team environment to be able to stick to tight deadlines and make sure they are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing goods in: Receiving and checking incoming shipments, verifying the contents against delivery notes, and recording any discrepancies. Ensuring all goods are properly labelled and stored in the correct location within the warehouse.
  • Put away: Organising and storing goods in designated locations within the warehouse according to company procedures. Ensuring that inventory levels are accurately maintained and updated in the system.
  • Pick and pack: Retrieving and packaging goods for customer orders in a timely manner. Ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched for delivery to customers. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
  • Goods out: Loading goods onto delivery vehicles and arranging for timely dispatch. Ensuring that all orders are accurately packed and labelled for shipment. Coordinating with logistics and transport teams to ensure timely delivery to customers.
