Maintenance Technician (Mechanical bias)

 We are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to join our busy Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased and will carry out electrical & Mechanical maintenance in order to maintain plant & equipment in our Foundry, fettling shop and heat treatment department as well as our CNC machining facilities.
Key responsibilities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Execute repair and maintenance activities according to best practice, engineering processes, procedures and safety regulations as directed
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist the team in the implementation of H&S policies and procedures for maintenance and associated activities
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Perform planned preventative maintenance across the site
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist the team in order to improve equipment performance at the lowest possible cost.

Qualifications & Skills:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â HNC / ONC in Mechanical Engineering
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Time Served Mechanical Apprentice
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics preferred but not essential
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Willing Team player, creative & innovative
Hours:
This role is 37 hours working a 5 day-week and the standard hours are:
Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 16:30 and Fridays - 08:00 - 13:00.
