My client, a 4-star Hotel located in the heart of The Cotswolds, require a senior sous chef to join their team.
My client offers the perfect spot to switch off and relax and steeped in over 600 years of fascinating history, this Cotswolds hotel has been host to royalty as well as notable rebellious figures throughout the centuries.
Showcasing a specially curated menu of exemplary dishes, artisanal and seasonal produce, the new menu is in keeping with The Hotel's ethos of serving traditional and authentic dishes in a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere.
My client is looking for someone who can lead a team (17 chefs in total, 5 KPs) and support their Head Chef with running a busy kitchen operation.
The Senior Sous Chef role offers:-

The ideal Senior Sous Chef candidate will:-
- Collaborates with the head chef to direct food preparation. Ensure consistency and quality in every dish
- Oversees and supervises the kitchen staff. Leads the kitchen team in Head chef's absence.
- Assists with menu planning, inventory, and supply management
- Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
- Meets high standards of food hygiene and professionalism and trains your team to learn new cooking techniques.
