About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated, patient, and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support students with behavioural, emotional, and social challenges. Working closely with the pastoral team, SEN staff, and class teachers, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for students presenting with behavioural difficulties

Implement de-escalation strategies and behaviour support plans

Build positive, trusting relationships with students

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and leadership

Work in collaboration with teaching staff and parents/carers to support student development

Promote emotional well-being and resilience in students

Help maintain a safe and inclusive school environment

Proven experience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, or care setting

Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills
-
Calm, confident, and empathetic approach

Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential
