Whelans Pubs are seeking an experienced and energetic General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in our vibrant, entertainment-led venues.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day pub operations and ensure high service standards
Lead, train, and motivate bar, floor, and kitchen teams
Manage stock, suppliers, scheduling, and compliance
Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback
Drive revenue through events, promotions, and strong financial management
Requirements
Proven management experience in a busy pub or hospitality venue
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of budgeting, reporting, and P&L
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Experience with live entertainment venues is an advantage
