Outreach Tutor - Afterschool English or Maths
About the Role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and qualified Outreach Tutor to provide 1:1 bespoke tuition in English or Maths for young people who are requiring additional support afterschool. This is a unique opportunity to deliver personalised learning sessions (1 to 2 hours per student per week) that help bridge educational gaps, boost confidence, and reignite a passion for learning.
Many of the young people you will support are looked after children and vulnerable learners, often with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Your experience and empathy in these areas will be invaluable as you help re-engage them in their education and provide vital structure to their routine.
