We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Support Officer to join Bromley Council's People Directorate, based at the Civic Centre in BR6. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced and professional local authority environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support across the team

  • Manage financial payments and maintain accurate records

  • Organise and provide remote support for meetings using Microsoft Teams

  • Take minutes and distribute documentation as required

  • Use Microsoft Co-pilot and demonstrate strong IT skills

  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and service standards

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 A Levels or equivalent

  • Proven experience in administration and clerical duties

  • Strong skills in copy typing, word processing, mail merge, and minute-taking

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Competence with Microsoft Office and digital tools

  • Experience in the public sector is desirable
