We are seeking an ambitious Freight Account Manager to join our flourishing branch at a consistently growing company. This role is ideal for someone with a robust sales background in the freight forwarding industry, eager to make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop external sales with new customers while maintaining existing business relationships.
- Compile competitive quotes and proposals for new and potential customers.
- Ensure customer needs are met effectively, monitored regularly, and accounts are managed proficiently.
- Ensure all bookings and transactions are made in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proven knowledge and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Previous experience as a Freight Account Manager or Business Development Manager within freight forwarding is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements in the freight forwarding sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
