Work Pattern: Double Day Shift (20% uplift on rate)

Week 1: 6:00am - 1:10pm
Week 2: 1:30pm - 8:40pm

Pay Rate before uplift
26.92/hour PAYE
36.00/hour Umbrella



About the Role

Join the dynamic A350 Manufacturing Engineering team, supporting a fast-paced production line. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of the lineside support team, driving continuous improvement, solving technical challenges, and enhancing cycle time and efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily on-shift support for technical issues including missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, and tooling.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage out-of-cycle work orders and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Collaborate with Work Prep, Maintenance, MAP, and Outstanding Work teams.
  • Anticipate capacity fluctuations and support competence growth.
  • Ensure adherence to operational processes and drive industrial excellence.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering (aviation preferred; global manufacturing acceptable).
  • NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent desirable.
  • Familiarity with CATIA and SAP is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft build philosophy.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.


Additional Information

  • Paid overtime available (25% Mon-Fri, 50% Sat-Sun for P Grade & below).
