Production Activity Controller

Location: Broughton (Onsite Requirement)
Contract Duration: Until 18 August 2026 (with potential for extension)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days between 7am - 7pm, flexible within business needs)
Pay Rate:

  • Up to 23.00 per hour PAYE (depending on experience)
  • Up to 30.05 per hour Umbrella (depending on experience)
    IR35 Status: Off-payroll working rules apply
    Security Clearance: BPSS+ (to be completed by employer security team)


About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Production Activity Controller to join our Planning and Logistics team. This is a key role supporting production scheduling and logistics coordination within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for launching daily production routines, attending monitoring meetings, and reporting on progress and parts availability. Your role will also involve managing work orders, coordinating component logistics, and supporting parasitic flow and outstanding work coordination across departments.

Additionally, you will contribute to the supply management of Wing Loose Items across Final Assembly Lines.



Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage daily production scheduling tasks
  • Attend and contribute to daily production monitoring meetings
  • Report on production progress and parts availability
  • Manage work orders and component logistics, including missing parts
  • Coordinate parasitic flows and outstanding works with other departments
  • Support internal/external transfer of work order responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless delivery of product to the shopfloor


Candidate Profile

We're looking for a motivated self-starter with strong planning experience and excellent communication skills. You should be:

  • Customer and results-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Flexible on industry background if planning experience is demonstrated
  • Experienced in production scheduling or similar roles
