Sonic Summary

The position is for a Contract Stress Engineer located in Flintshire, offering a full-time onsite role for a 12-month contract inside IR35.
The successful candidate will join the Wing Analysis Engineering team of a leading aircraft manufacturer, focusing on static structural analysis of composite and metallic structures.
Candidates must have relevant stress and/or concessions experience in Aerospace, with T400 Concessions Approval being a requirement.
Experience with military aircraft or other aircraft product knowledge is considered a plus for applicants.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a minimum of 5 years required in a relevant field.

About the Role

Our client, a leading aircraft manufacturer, is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join their Wing Analysis Engineering team. The successful candidate will be joining an innovative environment, working alongside wing assembly lines, manufacturing a variety of aircraft wings.

Responsibilities:

Perform static structural analysis on composite and metallic structures.
Validate and analyze metallic, composites, and hybrid structures at the component level for static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
Provide stress analyses for the repair and acceptance of structures.
Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.

Skills Requirements:

Successful candidates will hold T400 Concessions Approval.
Relevant stress and/or concessions experience in Aerospace.
Experience with other aircraft, military aircraft, or product knowledge is a plus.
