Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Flintshire from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive and well-resourced environment where curiosity, experimentation, and achievement are at the heart of science education.
We welcome applications from teachers with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, who are committed to delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking science lessons tailored to a range of abilities

Inspire curiosity and scientific thinking in a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Plan, assess, and track pupil progress in line with national curriculum standards

Contribute to department enrichment activities and whole-school science initiatives
Requirements:

A recognised PGCE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification in Science

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is essential

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education

Excellent classroom management and communication skills
