Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivatedCommis Chefto join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis Chef, you will support the senior kitchen staff in preparing high-quality dishes in line with our menu standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food under the supervision of more senior chefs.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and consistency.
- Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the kitchen leadership.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage, workstation, and equipment.
- Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
- Comply with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, and keen to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary qualification or training is an advantage but not required.
