Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic HVAC Controls Sales Representative to drive sales of our cutting-edge heating and cooling controls, focusing on renewable energy system providers, particularly those offering heat pump solutions. This national role involves targeting SMEs at the owner/operator level, helping them adopt efficient and sustainable HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential customers in the HVAC industry, focusing on renewable energy providers.
  • Build trust-based relationships with SME owner/operators.
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations and live product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements per company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless project execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products.
  • Implement the 3-step selling method: lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven HVAC sales experience, ideally with controls or renewable energy systems.
  • Strong knowledge of UK domestic heating/cooling systems, especially heat pumps.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in the 3-step selling method and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel nationally (up to two nights per week).
  • Valid UK driver’s license.
  • Engineering/HVAC-related education preferred but not essential.
