Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong background in Biochemistry/Blood Sciences to join our team. This role requires ad hoc visits to Burgess Hill and the candidate must be located within or willing to relocate to the Dorset/Hampshire area to ensure prompt response times for our customers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Travel within the Dorset and Hampshire area to provide onsite customer support and service.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of electro-mechanical and photometry equipment, primarily focusing on platforms such as Roche, Abbott, and Beckman.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service standards.
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven field service experience in pathology, particularly in Biochemistry/Blood Sciences.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, photometry, immunoassay, and preanalytics.
  • Experience with platforms like Roche, Abbott, and Beckman.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Dorset/Hampshire area.
