A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking a Lab Technician to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment.
Role Overview
- Receipt and analysis of samples using a range of analytical techniques
- Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard operation procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025
- Temporary, Full-time(39 hours pw) role starting on shifts of Tuesday to Saturday. Rotating shifts between hours of 6AM-9PM.
- Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends.
- Opportunities to go permanent and progress.
Requirements
- Analytical experience gained from working in an Academic or industrial Laboratory setting
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in a Chemistry related discipline is highly advantageous.
- Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
- Must be available to begin immediately
