Senior Care Assistant | Burton-on-Trent | Full Time – 35 hours per week | £12.77 per hour

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their team. They are a trusted residential care home in Burton upon Trent, committed to providing high-quality, professional, and personalised care for their residents. Are you the right person for the job?

  • MUST have NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards
  • Flexible and able to work shifts which include weekends
  • Genuine interest in and experience of working with service users in a residential care setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player
  • Willingness to participate in Vocational Training
  • Satisfactory DBS Checks
  • Medication Trained
  • Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines / Experience

What will your role look like?

  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained in accordance with person-centred Care Plans, Risk Assessments
  • Ensure service users' care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual, are met. Providing supervision and attention when needed
  • Review Care Plans
  • Report on the well-being of Service Users and liaise with GPS, Healthcare Professionals and Managers
  • Ensure service users' privacy, respect and dignity are maintained at all times
