Job Duties:- Providing high-quality care and support to patients in a healthcare setting
- Assisting with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Driver with Access to a vehicle
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Basic IT skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- First Aid certification
The Healthcare Assistant role involves working in a healthcare environment, which may include exposure to illnesses and medical procedures. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting/moving patients. Part-Time hours are expected with potential for flexible shifts.
