Your new role
This is a newly created Reception Administrator job working as an integral part of the business as well as being the first point of contact for staff, visitors and clients. The duties for this job are varied and include:
- Managing the reception area and dealing with all visitors
- Answering incoming calls and coordinating them across the business
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Purchasing stationery and supplies
- Booking the meeting rooms and car parking spaces
- Office administration
- Dealing with maintenance calls
- Database maintenance
What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this job, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' previous administration experience and have worked in a reception environment previously. This job requires a well-presented candidate who is clearly spoken and has the ability to build a rapport with people quickly. You must be conversant in Microsoft Office Suite and able to manage your own workloads.
