Job Duties:
  • Providing support to individuals with physical or learning disabilities in their daily activities
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting clients with medication administration as per care plans
  • Engaging clients in social and recreational activities
  • Documenting and reporting on client progress and any concerns to the supervising team
Required Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Good understanding of safeguarding procedures
Education:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
  • Prior experience working in a similar support worker role
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Understanding of person-centred care approaches
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care
  • First Aid certification
  • Driver with access to a vechicle
Working Conditions:
