Michael Page are recruiting for a Legal Cashier on behalf of a well established legal business based in Bury.

The purpose of this role is to assist with all aspects of accounting for the business including bank reconciliations & transactional processing.

Description

Legal Cashier duties include:

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Accounting entries - payables & receivables
  • Issuing invoices to clients
  • Payment runs
  • Credit control
  • Dealing with accounting queries
  • Ensuring all accounting data is filed accurately
  • Ad-hoc finance tasks as required

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Have knowledge of the legal sector
  • Be AAT qualified, studying AAT or qualified by experience
  • Be an excellent communicator (written and verbal)
  • Be proficient in MS Office
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
