We are looking for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our SEN team in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs and help them thrive in a supportive school environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with class teachers as a Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted learning support

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions as a Teaching Assistant

  • Support children with SEN in both academic and personal development as a Teaching Assistant

  • Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and learning resources as a Teaching Assistant

  • Act as a reliable and approachable Teaching Assistant for pupils and staff



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in SEN or primary school settings

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach as a Teaching Assistant

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices

  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant - desirable but not essential
